Books

I’m not the only one talking about technology addiction. On this page, I list some of the books I’ve read and either provide some quick thoughts on the book, or provide a link to an explicit review.

The Shallows by Nicholas Carr

A journalist notices that his capacity for attention has been waning over the last few decades, and has a vague sense that it’s somehow related to his technology use. Through research and introspection, he comes to realize that not only has the Internet made him more distracted – it actually changed the wiring of his brain. An important book in this literature which is accessible to a wide audience.
